General Overview

  AGI is a K-12 American-style international school located at 20 Rue Baalabek, Hay Nahda, Agadir. Started small in 2013 with a few students; now hosts over 45+ nationalities in its student body. Emphasis on inclusive education. They accept students with special needs, use Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and aim to adapt to diverse learning styles.

Curriculum & Philosophy

  English is the primary medium; the school uses the Anglia Examinations system for English proficiency testing. They follow an “American philosophy and practices” in education, focusing on academic excellence, personal growth, respect, ethical behavior, and community values. AGI integrates various educational theories (Montessori, Waldorf) into their approach as part of fostering holistic development.

 Fees & Enrollment

  Tuition for K5 to Grade 8: ~ 2600 MAD / month × 10 months = 26,000 MAD/year Registration (inscription) fees include: Insurance: 500 MAD Books: ~ 3,000 MAD Enrollment fees (especially when materials/books come from the USA): ~ 3,000 MAD Total registration: ~ 6,500 MAD for K-8. For High School (Grades 9-12), fees are similar monthly costs, but book & material fees are higher. Also options (online, etc.) affect costs.

 Policies & Procedures

  Students must have 90% attendance through the school year for promotion. Late arrivals are strictly regulated. Entrance tests: For many grades, there's a Math assessment, English/Reading (and sometimes CAT testing). Prior schooling paperwork and behavior reports are needed.
